who we are
Dr Larry Cashion
Larry started out as a research psychologist 18 years ago and completed his formal psychology registration while completing his PhD. He has worked across Australia as a consultant psychologist in such varied places as regional NSW, Darwin, Alice Springs, Launceston and northern Tasmania, as well as Cairns. Larry has earned a reputation both in Australia and internationally as a specialist in autism and other developmental challenges, as well as clinical and neuropsychological assessment, in addition to assessment and intervention for complex mental health and behavioural issues. Until recently, Larry was working in public health and human services, providing psychological services to mental health clients, managing a residential mental health facility in Queensland, and developing and delivering a wellbeing support program for child protection staff in Victoria. The break from private practice has served to refresh his passion for positively contributing to the welfare of those individuals and families affected by disability and mental health.
